Student & Site Coordinator Stories
There are some things you can measure — graduation rates, attendance, promotion to the next grade level — and some things you cannot. When it comes to the impact of student support services, students benefit greatly from a relationship with their site coordinator. Their social/emotional lives improve, they develop skills to help them succeed in the real world and they are able to start dreaming of a better future. Here are some of their stories.
Class of 2025 Student: Tony
Tony, a graduate of Eldorado High School,
was connected with Site Coordinator 9th grade. Over four years, Ruby witnessed Tony’s growth firsthand — from a quiet student with big dreams to a driven young adult paving his own path forward. Here’s the impact Ruby had on Tony.
Class of 2024 Student: Justyce
Our Power Within Breakfast and Awards event allows us to recognize extraordinary students like Justyce, who graduated from Las Vegas High School in 2024. Despite extreme challenges, he worked with his site coordinator to focus on his goals, graduate a year early and earn a scholarship!
