Tis the season for giving! Communities In Schools of Southern Nevada is seeking your help by donating to the Light The World Giving Machine Green Valley location.
The Giving Machine is open from Tuesday, November 12 through Wednesday, January 1st.
Light The World Giving Machine provides a fun and memorable way to give back to those in need. The vending machine displays an array of essential items that can be purchased for someone in need with the swipe of a credit card. 100% of all donations made at the Giving Machines will go directly to CIS.
Stop by the Giving Machine at The District at Green Valley Ranch and choose from one or many of these resources our students need:
- Story Book Explorers Club, $10: Help children in a student book club learn to love reading
- Personal Care Kit, $20: Keep a student clean and confident with hygiene essentials
- Getting Around Town, $35: Pride rides to school, a tutor, or the library with a 30-day RTC bus pass
- Off to College, $60: Sponsor a college application fee to help a student cross the finish line
- A Warm Winter, $80: Gift a winter coat, sweater, and essential apparel to a youth in need
Please note, that there are two locations this year, and Communities In Schools Giving Machine is at The District at Green Valley location only.
