Gov. Brian Sandoval is out with new details on a statewide school safety task force unveiled earlier this month.
The Republican governor on Thursday announced the task force will be chaired by close friend and ex-strategist Dale Erquiaga. Erquiaga, the state’s former superintendent of public instruction, is now national president and CEO of Communities In Schools, a nonprofit dropout prevention organization.
